Tamyia Turner joined the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) as its Business Development Specialist in May of this year.
After growing up in Hickory, North Carolina, Turner attended North Carolina A&T State University, where she received a degree in digital media and English education.
Turner especially enjoys her role because she likes to help people, she says. She manages the Registered Credential Training Provider (RCTP) and CCE Continuing Education Provider (CEP) programs, answering clients’ questions and helping them to succeed. She also reviews initial credential applications and works with CCE’s Accounting Department regarding clients’ payments.
Turner also collaborates with CCE’s Certification Department to ensure that international partners receive their Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) and Board Certified Counselor (BCC) certificates. Her efforts to increase brand awareness include generating new leads for each program.
When she’s not working, Turner loves to travel, spend time with her family, and go shopping at Target.
